We are thrilled to announce Clancy McDowell as a judge for the 2025 Kimberley Art and Photography Prize!

As the Executive Officer of the Kimberley Arts Network (KAN), Clancy has been a driving force in the region’s creative community. With a background in fine arts and film, she has worked with Goolarri Media, the ABC, Traditional Owner groups, and community organisations to foster arts and cultural development.

Her leadership has strengthened the Kimberley Arts Network, and she currently sits on the Board of Regional Arts WA, with previous roles on the boards of Theatre Kimberley and Broome Primary School. Clancy is also an artist in her own right, specializing in hand stitching and contemporary sashiko, working with upcycled and vintage fabrics.

With her deep connection to the Kimberley and passion for the arts, Clancy brings invaluable expertise to the judging panel. We can’t wait to see her insights shape this year’s competition!
