Wanga is a traditional dance (Junba) and song for the Ngarinjin people performed during festivals and during private lore business. The dance represents dancing birds and is taught to the children at an early age by elders and maturing adolescents. This photo was shot at Kupungari Community (Mt Barnett) during NAIDOC week 2022.
